This role reports to the Housing Services Team Leader. We welcome applicants from community housing, public housing and private real estate who bring transferable tenancy experience.

Your role in action

- Provide advice about tenant rights and responsibilities and support residents to understand their obligations
- Work with residents to resolve neighbourhood or tenancy concerns and prevent future issues
- Manage tenancies in line with the Residential Tenancy Act and program requirements, including SDA legislation
- Identify tenancy risks early and work with internal teams to support tenancy sustainment
- Conduct routine, ingoing and outgoing property inspections and maintain accurate documentation
- Manage rent collection, arrears and tenancy debts in line with Housing Choices procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete records in the tenancy management system
- Build effective relationships with support providers, referral agencies and government stakeholders
- Manage end-of-tenancy processes, including bond disbursement and debt recovery
- Represent Housing Choices in external forums, including Tribunals or Court when required
- Keep up to date with legislation, regulations and program requirements
- Use reporting tools to monitor accuracy, compliance and performance

You are organised, supportive and confident working with people from diverse backgrounds. You communicate clearly, manage priorities well and bring a calm, solutions‑focused approach to your work.

You will bring

- Experience managing a tenancy portfolio in community housing, public housing or private real estate
- Experience supporting residents through complex or challenging housing issues
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records
- Confidence working with vulnerable or disadvantaged communities
- Skills in Microsoft Office and report writing
- Understanding of housing legislation, regulatory frameworks or a willingness to learn

You must also have

- Working With Children and NDIS Worker Screening Checks (or the ability to obtain them)
- Willingness to undertake employment screening

We welcome applicants who bring different experience and perspectives. Please apply even if you do not meet every listed requirement.

Why you will love working with us

- 5 weeks annual leave
- Salary packaging
- 16 weeks paid parental leave
- Supportive, inclusive and people‑focused culture
- Learning and development opportunities
