Senior Product Manager
Location: Melbourne, Australia. Hybrid (3 days in the office per week)Reports to: Product Manager Team LeaderContract: Fixed-term (12 months, with potential to extend)Salary: $107,060 - $139,190
We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join Beyond Sports and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, fan-facing products used by millions worldwide.
In this role, you will act as the strategic partner to our Head of Pillar and serve as a key interface with clients. While the Head of Pillar defines the vision and direction, you will shape how that vision is realised, working closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to translate ideas into impactful products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
* Own the end-to-end product roadmap, from discovery through to delivery
* Lead discovery and ideation for new products in collaboration with clients, internal teams, and Pillar leads
* Translate long-term strategic vision into clear, phased product plans
Requirements & Delivery
* Break down client and business needs into actionable user stories, requirements, and technical specifications
* Ensure clarity across multiple workstreams to support efficient delivery
Stakeholder Management
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
* Act as a strategic advisor, bringing deep understanding of sport, fans, and business needs
* Influence product direction through insights, trends, and data
Data-Driven Decision Making
* Work with Data Insights and Research teams to validate product strategy
* Use data and user insights to inform prioritisation and product decisions
Team Leadership & Collaboration
* Mentor and support members of the product and delivery teams
* Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal and client teams
* Drive alignment and clarity throughout the product lifecycle
* Partner closely with engineering, QA, and design teams to bring products to life
Key Skills & Experience
* Stakeholder Management: Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and guiding product direction
* Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to shape product roadmaps aligned to business and client goals
* Product Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager, delivering complex, data-rich, fan-facing products across interconnected platforms
* Storytelling & Influence: Skilled at crafting compelling narratives to bring stakeholders on the product journey
* Prioritisation & Trade-offs: Strong judgement balancing business value, user needs, and technical feasibility
* Leadership & Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority and working closely with engineering and design
