United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is an Open Cut coal mine located 16 kilometres west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. UWJV 50:50 joint venture between United Collieries (Glencore and MEU) and Wambo Coal (Peabody). We commenced operation in 2020 and we are forecast to produce up to 10 million tonnes per annum of saleable thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal until 2042.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you will safely and effectively maintain operational technology (OT) systems to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs.
**About The Role**
In this role you will primarily be responsible for:
- Working closely with both mining and maintenance teams to ensure the continuous and effective operation of OT systems,
- Be able to proactively identify faults within OT hardware and software systems and undertake fault finding activities.
- Review and implement changes to in pit communication infrastructure to ensure all operating areas have required coverage.
- Proactively instigate improvements within OT systems.
- Work constructively with 3rd party OT system providers.UWJV OT systems include, but not limited to; Guardvant fatigue management, Modular fleet management, Argus Excavator fleet management, Rajant mesh Wi-Fi systems, PLCs, cisco and moxa communication hardware, cambium wireless communication system and associated OT servers, databases, firewalls and windows domain infrastructure.
**About You**- Automotive or Electrician trade (Essential)
- Engineering, or communications qualifications (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of or a willingness to learn about OT and communications systems (Desirable)
