OverviewSenior Analyst, Line 1 Risk | BOQ GroupAs a Senior Analyst in Line 1 Risk, you will support BOQ Business Bank's operational risk management activities.
You will deliver pragmatic risk advice and support the implementation of BOQ Group's Risk Management Strategy and standards.
This includes proactive engagement with business units to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support key Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and Control Management Framework (CMF) activities across Business Bank, including:Issues and Incidents Management: Conduct preliminary assessments, assign ownership, and support resolution in line with BOQ's escalation protocols/Issues Management Standard.Controls Management: Design, implement, and monitor controls to strengthen the control environment.Proactive Risk Advisory: Provide timely and practical risk advice to business stakeholders, aligned with BOQ's risk appetite and strategic objectives.Collaborate with Group Risk and Compliance (Line
2) and Internal Audit (Line
3) to ensure risk practices are consistent and effective.Support the business in embedding a proactive risk culture and continuous improvement mindset.Contribute to risk profiling workshops and CPS 230 readiness activities, including mapping critical operations and refreshing controls.About YouYou bring a valuable understanding of operational risk principles, ideally within a banking or financial services environment.
You should be able to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and translate risk concepts into actionable business insights.
