**About the Role**:
The Workforce Policy and Integrity team of People Branch plays a key role in implementing strategies and actions to mitigate risk, contribute to the management of the department's governance framework, build a strong culture, support leadership, and sustain workplace integrity. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners the role ensures responsiveness to current and future needs.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate secretariat functions, including managing the delivery of actions, preparing reports and monitoring progress.
- Provide high level advice and support with respect to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives as they relate to workforce, with a focus on integrity.
- Research, analyse and prepare, briefs, significant reports and submissions that respond to changes in the broader environment and provide information to support decision making.
- Lead engagement across People branch, the department, key stakeholders and other agencies to develop briefings, initiatives and policy.
- Contribute to the establishment of performance and accountability frameworks including indicators, measures and reporting.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
