About the Role
The Privacy Reforms Program is an enterprise-wide three-year program that has been established in response to Privacy risks and regulations continuously evolving. In Australia, the recent reforms passed last year introduced new obligations coupled with heightened penalties. It is pivotal that we remain proactive in our approach to ensure we meet these new obligations and increasing community expectations.
The Program Delivery Governance Lead plays a crucial role in assisting the Senior Manager to achieve the Privacy Reforms program’s objectives in line with business goals. This position involves designing, implementing, and continuously improving project management standards, processes, and tools. You will provide governance, oversight, and coaching to ensure the program is delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Supported by a small team, you will collaborate closely with all workstream leads across the program to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
• Supporting the delivery of the Privacy Reforms program by applying agile project management disciplines
• Defining and overseeing program governance aligned to overarching ANZ Delivery Governance Framework
• Facilitating and managing the preparation of risk governance forums
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of governance processes, decisions, and outcomes.
• Developing and implementing governance framework and processes to support the successful delivery of the Privacy Reforms program’s objectives
• Monitoring and reporting on program delivery progress including identifying and addressing any governance-related issues or risks.
• Collaborating with program workstream teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment with governance requirements.
• Work closely with the Portfolio and Strategy Enablement team to oversee program budget and reporting
• Performing quality assurance checks in preparation for audits
• Leading and supporting a small team of PMO analysts/coordinators
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Extensive experience in program delivery governance, with an understanding of privacy regulations and compliance desirable.
• Experience applying agile methodologies to program management.
• Expertise in delivery tooling such as JIRA, Confluence and the MS Office suite.
• Proven ability to develop and implement governance frameworks and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Experience leading a team to drive quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
• Ready to dive in and work hands-on with enthusiasm and energy as a vital member of a dynamic, fast-paced team
• Relevant tertiary qualification desirable
