Compassionate Care Assistant
We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide personalized care and support to our residents.
As a Compassionate Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting residents with daily living needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, and general mobility.
* Administering medication and applying simple wound dressings with precision and care.
* Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities that foster engagement and community connection.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent qualification.
* Relevant accredited medication qualification and competency assessment for administering medications safely.
* A strong passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible, combined with empathy, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
* Experience in aged or community care is desirable but not essential, as we welcome candidates eager to begin their career in the aged care sector.
