Dare Recruitment is working exclusively with a highly regarded boutique law firm to recruit a Property & Commercial Lawyer to join its growing team.
This is a rare opportunity for a lawyer who is looking for quality property and commercial work, genuine flexibility and the chance to work closely with an exceptional Director in a supportive, down-to‐earth and highly capable team.
The firm is interested in speaking with lawyers at Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate level.
The Opportunity
The firm acts for a range of business clients and has experience across sectors including hospitality, health, finance, real estate, accounting, engineering, agribusiness and other commercial industries.
The role offers a broad and interesting mix of property and commercial work for quality clients, including matters such as:
* Commercial property purchases and sales
* Commercial and retail leasing
* Property development matters
* General property agreements and advice, including easements, mortgages, caveats and covenants
* Business sales and purchases
* Share sales and purchases
* Commercial agreements and general commercial advice
* Finance, lending and securities matters
* Franchising and broader business law matters
Please note, our client does not expect candidates to have experience in everything listed above, so please don't rule yourself out if you don't have experience in all of the above! This role would suit a specialist property lawyer or specialist commercial lawyer for example.
Why This Role?
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for:
* The option to work in the office or hybrid, if that better suits you
* A highly regarded boutique practice
* Quality property and commercial matters
* Direct access to an excellent Director
* A genuinely positive and practical firm culture
* A role that can be shaped around your level of experience, whether Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate
Fully remote roles are very hard to come by in the current market, so this is a particularly rare opportunity if you are seeking genuine flexibility without compromising on work quality.
About You
You will ideally have:
* At least 2 years' PAE in property, commercial or business services law
* Strong drafting, advisory and client communication skills
* A practical and commercial approach
* The ability to manage files with an appropriate level of autonomy
* A genuine interest in property and commercial law
* A down‐to‐earth, team‐focused attitude
