A leading Australian Resources company is delivering a major procurement transformation program focused on contract optimisation, supplier integration, spend visibility, inventory management, and SAP-enabled process improvement.
We're seeking a commercially robust procurement professional skilled with deep sourcing experience across Mining, Utilities, or Renewable Energy sectors. Experience supporting M&A integration or transition programs will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic sourcing, RFQ/RFP and tender activities
* Drive contract optimisation, supplier rationalisation, and procurement governance
* Analyse spend, demand, and inventory trends to identify cost‐saving opportunities
* Improve procurement visibility, reporting, and ERP/SAP integration
* Manage supplier performance, commercial risk, and stakeholder engagement
* Support procurement integration across acquired or transitioning business units
Lead Role Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted commercial advisor to senior stakeholders
* Lead the procurement transition program across multiple workstreams
* Provide leadership to a small project team
* Deliver executive reporting and strategic recommendations
About You
* Strong background in sourcing, procurement, or category management
* Experience within Mining, Resources, Utilities, or Renewables
* Leadership experience
* Exposure to transformation, integration, or M&A environments
* Strong SAP/ERP capability and inventory management exposure
* Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape procurement outcomes within a large-scale transformation program in a complex operational workplace.
We are looking for three people, between $170K-$300K range.
