About the role
Our Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built preschool on the grounds of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School in Woy Woy NSW. At our Long Day Care provides a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something they are interested in.
We are looking for a Child Care Educator with a Diploma in Child Care that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment.
Location: Woy Woy NSW
Classification: Part time
Award level: CSA 4 + Above award rate + Retention + Paid Lunch break + Sign on Bonus
Days: Monday and Tuesday
Hours: Flexibility to work Long Day Care hours from 7am to 6pm
Ideally you will be able to
- Have an understanding and experience with Early Years Learning Framework
- Assist the Director/ Teacher to plan, implement and evaluate programs
- Ensure a welcoming, secure, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices
- Helping with observations and experiences
- Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families
- Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues
Requirements
- Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance
- Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
- Completion of CHCPRT025 ‘Identify & report children & young people at risk’
