About the Opportunity:
A prominent regional QLD based firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services and Tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or nearing completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly within the primary production sector.
- Preparations of IAS, BAS, and FBT returns
- Preparation of financial statement and tax returns & Div 7A, CGT, and FBT Calculations
- Guide clients in achieving their economic objectives
- Advisory Services
- Liaison with the ATO
- Maintenance and preparation of clients' financial records
- Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
- CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
- Proven experience working with primary production clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
