The role
Gippsland Water is looking for a talented and motivated Planning Engineer Water and Wastewater to provide expert technical advice in the Asset Planning workgroup.
You'll play a key role in supporting the Asset Planning team to help deliver and implement strategic plans for Gippsland Water's water and wastewater treatment systems and reticulation networks. These tasks will allow Gippsland Water to maintain a high level of service to our customers.
A typical day can involve problem solving, workshopping scopes with our key stakeholders, and providing advice and guidance related to technical issues to achieve the best outcomes.
What you'll bring
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently use water and sewerage hydraulic models and/or experience in the development of asset management plans
* Practical understanding and problem solving skills in relation to the construction of water and sewerage infrastructure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders
