Physiotherapist in Residential Aged Care
You have a unique opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team providing personalized treatments to residents in residential aged care. As a qualified physiotherapist, you will be involved in an innovative approach to allied health services that focuses on client-centered care.
The Plena Care Pathway is an award-winning program that allows therapists to tailor programs based on resident goals and priorities. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-on-one therapy interventions, and group-based active aging services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment needs, pressure area care, skin integrity, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
* Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and aged care facilities, working within the scope of occupational therapy.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
* Current AHPRA registration.
* Australian working rights.
* Willingness to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check.
