Elevate Technology Solutions is expanding its sales capacity and we are seeking a motivated and confident Sales Consultant to support our team. Working three days per week, this role focuses on generating new leads and creating sales opportunities from within those leads and identifying client needs and recommending products, services and solutions that help businesses improve performance and achieve their goals.
About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to develop their sales skills in a supportive environment. You will work closely with our senior sales staff to identify and pursue new business opportunities, create pipelines, follow up leads, develop strong ongoing client relationships with potential customers across Geelong and surrounding areas.
Some previous sales or business development experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities and build lead lists through research and community engagement
* Make first contact with potential clients via calls, emails, and in-person visits
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Identify customer business challenges and recommend appropriate technology solutions
* Present, demonstrate, and explain products or services to prospective customers
* Alongside your Sales Manager, manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing and post-sale follow-up
* Alongside your Sales Manager, work closely with technical teams, product specialists, and account managers to create tailored quotes, proposals, contracts, sales presentations and tenders
* Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in CRM systems
* Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
* Manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
About You

You will have:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confidence in speaking with new people and building rapport quickly.
* A positive, proactive approach and willingness to develop sales capabilities.
* Interest in business, technology, or office equipment is an advantage but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the sales team.
* A valid current full driver's licence.
* Have a current or willing to get a Police Check and Working with Children's Check (WCC).
