Graduate Mechanical Engineer role supporting maintenance and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient mobile plant operation in mining.Your RoleKey responsibilities include:Assist in planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance for plant and equipment.Collaborate with trades, supervisors, and planners to support daily maintenance operations.Participate in root cause analysis of mechanical failures and help develop action plans.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.Support condition monitoring activities.Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and engineering documentation.Participate in engineering design, procurement, and commissioning of minor capital and improvement projects.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Engage in structured learning and development, including rotations across maintenance disciplines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, reliability, and safety departments.About YouThe company is looking for:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, conveyors, crushers, and hydraulic systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to CMMS (e.g., SAP, Pronto) is an advantage.Eligibility for registration as a Graduate Engineer.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary.Access to corporate discounts and cashback offers from over 350 retailers.Paid maternity leave.Access to an online employee Wellbeing Centre with education, support, and health tools.Salary sacrificing benefits.Refer and earn program with up to $2,500 for referring new employees.Save up to 10% on health insurance with BUPA, HBF, or HCF.Training & DevelopmentParticipation in a structured graduate development program focused on enhancing technical skills and operational knowledge in mining and heavy industrial settings, including rotations across maintenance disciplines.Career ProgressionLong-term opportunities available across the business with potential for growth and development into desired professional roles within MACA.How to ApplyIf you want to join MACA on their journey, apply with them today.This job may close before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possibleReport this job
