The Role
Reporting to the Structural Engineering Manager you are responsible for delivering structural engineering solutions across a range of mineral processing projects.
The role contributes to the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems, supporting project delivery from concept through to execution.
Working within a multidisciplinary team this position also plays a key role in ensuring designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with client and project requirements.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis. An emerging Senior will also be considered.
Brief Duties
* Deliver structural design and analysis for mineral processing facilities, including steel and concrete structures
* Develop and check engineering calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements
* Perform structural modelling and analysis using SpaceGASS and Strand7
* Produce and review technical deliverables, including reports, specifications, and design documentation
* Interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated design outcomes
* Supporting project delivery from concept through to execution
* Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement
Criteria
* Degree-qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
* 5+ years' experience in an engineering and/or project delivery environment
* Strong capability in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures
* Experience in mining preferred, but will consider a background in buildings and infrastructure
* Strong experience with Australian Standards and Australian Building Codes
* Strong working knowledge of SpaceGASS and/or Strand7
* Practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
