An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate Network Technical Support Specialist to join the Satellite Operations Team.
**The opportunity**:
As the Network Technical Support Specialist, you will provide High level technical support in the implementation, maintenance and operation of Telstra's Networks, Infrastructure, products and customer services for a wide range of transmission, data and IP backbone platforms that support Telstra's Satellites. You will participate in a rotating call out roster where you will work with satellite technology which includes modems, high powered amplifiers, converters and various satellite RF equipment.
**Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but are not limited to**:
- Provide High level technical support in the implementation, maintenance and operation of Telstra's Networks, Infrastructure, products and customer services for Satellite, Transmission, Voice and IP platforms
- Use domain knowledge and analytical thinking to provide support in investigation of complex incidents
- Operate within standard practices and procedures, with support / direction from more experienced team members / leaders to meet business KPIs
- Establish and Maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders
- Maintain efficient Operation and Maintenance of all Network elements including their associated environmental systems and cabling
- Be on call and available to perform level 1 & 2 support of Telstra's Networks, Infrastructure, products and customer services
