Description
As an Operational Support Officer, you will support the delivery of superannuation services by performing a range of administrative and operational tasks.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in superannuation administration, including recent graduates.
Job specification
* Perform and coordinate a variety of administrative tasks across superannuation operations
* Maintain adviser records and process fees in accordance with Apex procedures
* Execute ATO-mandated tasks including Unclaimed Super Monies and Lost Member processing
* Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support platform enhancements
* Investigate and resolve exceptions to ensure service delivery meets quality, SLA, and compliance standards
* Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and systems
* Support reporting activities and contribute to service performance assessments
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Skills Required:
* Strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve issues
* Understanding of superannuation administration processes (preferred)
* Ability to work effectively within a team and with external stakeholders
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability
* Prior experience in superannuation or financial services (preferred but not essential)
* Formal superannuation qualifications or willingness to complete RG146 within 12 months
* Familiarity with superannuation technology platforms (e.g. Acurity) is advantageous
* Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
* Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
