Overview
Mecon Construction is seeking skilled and experienced Paving Plant Operators to join our construction team. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on asphalt / concrete experience across a variety of construction / infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
* Operate a range of asphalt and concrete equipment and machinery, including pavers, rollers, skid steers, and trucks.
* Undertake asphalt and concrete laying and related project activities, including laying, raking, shovelling, and compacting for carparks and roads.
* Follow company WHS procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
* Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Leading Hands, and subcontractors.
* Contribute to delivering high-quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
* At least 3 years of experience in the paving/asphalt industry (highly preferred).
* A White Card (or the ability to obtain one).
* Relevant industry tickets for paving and operating the above-mentioned equipment are advantageous; however, all applications will be considered.
* Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment.
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to operate a range of plant and equipment.
* Excellent teamwork skills.
Salary and Application
