Your responsibilities will contribute to the efficient and effective daily operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out to a high standard as outlined by your supervisor and in line with the approved school cleaning program.We Currently Have Two Permanent Positions AvailableOne full-time permanent roleOne part-time permanent role, working 56 hours per fortnight (0.74 FTE)These positions operate on a split shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
During the first week of school holidays, cleaning shifts will transition to straight shifts, offering a consistent and structured work pattern.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Cleaner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, offices, and communal areasDust and polish surfaces, furniture, and fixturesVacuum carpets and mop hard floorsEmpty bins and dispose of waste appropriatelyRefill soap, hand sanitizers, toilet paper, and other hygiene suppliesDeep clean specific areas during school holiday cleans or as neededClean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrorsFollow health and safety procedures at all timesReport any repairs or hazards to the Site ManagerSecure the premises after cleaning e.g. locking doors, windows, checking lights and air conditioners are turned off and turning on alarmsPrevious cleaning experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge of cleaning products and safe handling of chemicalsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyGood time management and reliabilityPhysical ability to carry out the job e.g. lifting, bending, standing for long periodsAwareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training may be providedPlease refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
