At Southern Cross Care, we are actively seeking skilled and compassionate Extended Care Assistants (ECA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and supporting individuals in need of extended care.
The Opportunity
We have casual positions available for qualified Extended Care Assistants at our George Town – Ainslie Low Head Residential Care Facility.
The Care Worker will provide high-quality, individualised care including, but not limited to:
* Assisting with personal care
* Medications support
* Nutrition and hydration
* General tidying and cleaning
* Assisting with lifestyle or wellness activities
* Any other residential care needs within the scope of training and skills
What You'll Need
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support
* Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards (or the ability to acquire this)
* Satisfactory National Police Check (within the last three months)
* Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration with NDIS endorsement
* If applicable, a copy of your current IMMI Letter
