Lead Clinical Professional in Regional Healthcare
This leadership role is aimed at driving regional health delivery in a rapidly developing area of Queensland, leveraging expertise to shape the future of medical services.
The position is based at Rockhampton Hospital, one of Queensland's major referral hospitals, and entails working with more than 20 facilities across the region.
* Direct and manage a workforce of over 458 FTE staff across regional and remote networks.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and education functions to ensure a sustainable medical workforce.
* Nurture partnerships with hospital and health services, Department of Health, primary care networks, and private sector entities.
The ideal candidate should possess:
* MBBS or equivalent for AHPRA registration.
* Fellowship with an Australian Medical Specialist College (mandatory).
* FRACMA desirable but not mandatory.
* Capability to practice clinically (0.2 FTE) in a recognised specialty with Central Queensland Health.
* Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
* Active enrolment in an ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.
