FitTick is compliance based approach to Occupational Health testing (respirator fit, audiometric, ear plug, drug and alcohol testing etc) and provides a compliant approach to current legislative standards for clients. We are expanding this part of our business and looking for a qualified Audiometrist to join the team as an Occupational Audiometry Consultant.
This is a mobile, client facing position ideal for a personable, well organised, client focused person who enjoys independence, travelling to different sites, and contributing to safer, healthier workplaces.
Your Role
Conduct baseline and periodic workplace hearing assessments using mobile audiometry equipment
Set up, operate and maintain a mobile testing vehicle
Ensure all testing meets the requirements of relevant Australian Standards and privacy obligations
Communicate clearly with workers and guide them through the assessment process
Accurately record results and maintain organised client documentation
Assist with client liaison and scheduling of on-site visits
Mandatory Qualifications & Membership
Full membership with a recognised professional body (e.g. ACAud, HAASA, or equivalent)
Audiology qualifications are highly regarded but not essential
It is essential that you are a motivated, self starter who is professional and approachable, able to balance administration elements with the technical delivery of audiometric testing and work effectively both autonomously and within a wider support team.
Ideally you will have a background in mobile or on site service delivery within a occupational health environment and sound knowledge of OHS regulations and standards and have experience in various different industries, however, you must definitely have basic computer literacy, hold a current full driver's license, be able to tow and park a trailer (or willing to learn) and have the ability to travel.
