Decmil is seeking several experienced SMP and Civil Supervisors across multiple construction projects in remote WA. We have opportunities for an immediate start.
To be considered, you will need to show demonstrated experience leading blue-collar teams to deliver projects safely, as this is a strong area of focus for our client.
Reporting to the Superintendent on site, the Civil and SMP Supervisor will oversee all construction activities on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee all construction activities on the remote construction site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
* Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project milestones.
* Supervise and manage on-site construction personnel and subcontractors.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets project standards and specifications.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide regular project updates.
* Manage on-site resources efficiently, including equipment, materials, and manpower
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* White Card.
* Section 26 or 44 Supervisor.
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on construction projects.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Valid driver's license and full rights to work, and the ability to get a National Police Clearance
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Willingness to travel and work in remote locations
