With a strong reputation for excellence in training and skills development, we are expanding our team and currently seeking a self-motivated Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer to join our Transport Division.
This position presents an exciting opportunity for experienced HC/MC drivers seeking a new challenge.
About the Role:
As a Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer at SDS Training, you will deliver high-quality driver training in the Transport sector. This role is based in Maryborough, Queensland, and involves training candidates during the week, with occasional weekend training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver driver training to students in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
* Assess students' driving skills, providing constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality training and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Provide hands-on training in heavy vehicle operations, ensuring that students are prepared for real-world challenges in the transport industry.
Skills & Experience Required:
* HRO, HC or MC unrestricted driver's license (essential).
* Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction (Specialisation B – Heavy Vehicle) (essential).
* Minimum of 3 years' experience driving in the transport industry.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging training sessions.
* A strong focus on safety, compliance, and industry best practices.
