Overview
As our Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the property in conjunction with the General Manager, ensuring high standards of service, and supporting the company aims and agenda.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Front Office team to ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process
* Provide outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns effectively
* Assist with reservations, revenue management, and reporting tasks
* Oversee housekeeping and maintenance coordination to maintain property standards
* Support staff training, rostering, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Provide coverage for the General Manager during normal absences and annual leave
What We're Looking For
* Strong Front Office/Reception experience in the accommodation or hospitality industry
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of hotel booking systems (experience with RMS preferred)
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
