Bombies, our new music focused venue is located on the second floor of the Harbord Hotel. This new extension is Northern Beaches best live music venue with views of the beautiful Freshwater Beach.
THE ROLE:
The General Manager is responsible for the operations at Harbord Hotel. You will be working alongside an experienced management team with direct report to the Group Operations Manager as well as owners of the business. Day-to-day you are running the show and encouraging the team to create memorable moments for our guests, with guest experience and satisfaction always being at the forefront of what we do. There are operational responsibilities you'll need to be across as well as in-house processes and reporting. You'll also work with our marketing team creating signature events and brand partnerships, as well as identifying future opportunities for the business. Most of all, you will be a leader of the business and know how to inspire your team, while getting the best out of everyone around you.
As a General Manager at Harbord Hotel your key focuses will include:
* Leading a large team of fun-loving and passionate individuals to ensure that they are always delivering and creating memorable and exceptional experiences to our guests.
* Fostering an inclusive, vibrant, nurturing, and fun culture for our team to ensure staff retention and growth.
* Day-to-day management of the venue ensuring that Harbord Hotel is always immaculate and with a warm, fun, and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
* Managing financial controls and reporting and executing growth strategies to increase revenue.
