Power Plant Engineer

In this newly created role, you'll oversee daily operations and future upgrades of our diesel plant and electrical distribution network. You’ll play a key part in the resort's transition to renewable energy, supporting solar and battery integration projects that power the entire resort community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain diesel power generation and electrical distribution systems.
* Lead maintenance schedules, high- and low-voltage switching, and system optimisation to ensure safe and reliable power for all facilities.
* Manage infrastructure projects, budgets, and contractors in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
* Provide technical leadership for the resort's renewable-energy transition, including solar PV and battery storage integration.
* Support operational planning to ensure power resilience through the wet season and peak tourism demand.
* Uphold compliance with WHS, NT regulations, and environmental standards.
