Factory Foreman – Rotational Moulding Facility
We are currently seeking an experienced and down-to-earth Factory Foreman to join our team at Orion Australia, a leading manufacturer in the plastic rotational moulding industry.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires some degree of technical knowledge combined with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine team-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on leadership and support across all areas of the factory floor.
* Coordinate and supervise daily production and despatch schedules and workflows.
* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where all team members feel valued.
* Uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times.
* Assist in training and development of new and existing team members.
* Communicate clearly and respectfully with staff and management.
About You:
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (rotational moulding experience advantageous but not essential).
* Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is required.
* An understanding of Lean methodology would be an advantage, or being open to be trained in it.
* Practical, humble, and grounded – you understand the importance of team morale.
* Able to balance leading with listening, directing with doing.
* Confident in solving problems and making decisions under pressure.
* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Physically fit and willing to work shoulder-to-shoulder with your team.
