Team Leader Facilities Maintenance
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Team Leader Facilities Maintenance to contribute to Council's success.

About the Role
This position is a key leadership role and is responsible for overseeing the delivery and completion of preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance works on Council's assets, including Corporate and Community Facility assets throughout the Gladstone region.
You will bring:
* Relevant trade qualifications and/or substantial experience and expertise in facility or ancillary maintenance.
* Proven experience in leading teams and managing contractors in a maintenance environment.
* Understanding of Codes of Practice and ability to apply legislation for compliance in asset inspections and condition assessments.
* High-level demonstrated skills in prioritising, planning and organising multiple tasks to meet regular and concurrent deadlines and deliver high efficiency and quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
* Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
