About the role:
Working out of our Brisbane office, this fantastic opportunity has opened for a Project Engineer to join and form an integral part of our Project Management team.
As a Project Engineer, you will be reporting directly to a Project Manager and be responsible for the following day to day activities;
* Manage the delivery of the scope, project tasks, deliverables, budget, and schedule across multiple projects.
* Responsible for controlling the project`s expenditures, including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
* Managing key project registers: Change, Risk, TQ, SID/HAZID/HAZOP etc.
* Demonstrate a strong willingness to grow and step into the PM role.
* Previous experience working on 'Sus Cap' projects is beneficial.
Successful candidates will need to possess:
* 3 yrs+ experience in Engineering Design and/or Construction roles (preferably Mechanical)
* Experience in minerals processing, pumping and piping and materials handling systems
* Experience in multiple commodities such as iron ore, copper/gold and/or battery minerals is desirable.
* Eligibility for RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) application is desirable but not essential.
