Occupational Therapists - Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to lead our clinical team in Rockingham. If you have a passion for making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply.
As an occupational therapist with us, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload while supporting and guiding other therapists. You will also provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to ensure contemporary best practice.
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and current AHPRA registration. They will also have proven experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a disability or community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own caseload and support junior staff members
* Provide expert clinical leadership and mentoring
* Analyse and develop service delivery models to improve outcomes
* Coordinate student placements and contribute to learning and development programs
* Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and policies
* Work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Education and Training
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
* Current AHPRA registration
Experience
* Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a disability or community setting
* Minimum 4 years of experience as an occupational therapist
Skills
* Demonstrated ability in coaching, mentoring, and clinical leadership
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
* Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety and risk management
