OverviewGeneral Manager Canberra, Australia $125,000 + 25% annual bonus + Sponsorship + Relocation SupportWe are looking for a General Manager to join a leading health and fitness operator at their premium 4500-member family focused health and lifestyle club in Canberra, Western Australia.
The facilities are market leading with a state-of-the-art gym, 25m indoor and outdoor pools, 100+group exercise timetable, 32 tennis and 6 squash courts, a sauna, steam room and Spa, with a fully licensed clubroom and creche with a comprehensive junior activities program for 600 kids.
Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate along with relocation support to the value of $10,000.Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record working as a General Manager in a premium and family focused health and racquets club.ResponsibilitiesThe commercial accountability for planning, organising, and directing a multi -revenue stream club operation.Ensure member satisfaction and the membership through the key tasks of member engagement and member participation.Develop and deliver on all localised sales, promotional and marketing strategies as directedBeing team and member focussed on every decision you make supported by clarity of communication and direction.Passionate about coaching, supporting, training and developing your team in what is a highly competitive labour market.Consistently deliver the ways of working and brand standards across every area of the club's operation.Full P and L responsibility including management of significant capital expenditure projects.Ensure consistent delivery of the service level agreements from the suppliers, partners, and contractors.Benefits / DetailsIn addition to a basic salary of up to $125,000 there is 25% annual bonus potential.
Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks with a 12% superannuation (pension) contribution.
Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate with my client looking for a minimum commitment of 3 years.
There is the prospect to stay significantly longer.
The relocation package of up to $10,000 will include your flight to Australia with one month's rental and car hire.The start date would need to be within 4 months of the offer date, assuming a 3 month notice period.Interviews are immediately available.
