Your role as a Rear Loader Driver
As a Rear Loader Driver, you'll work a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Sunday) with a 4 a.m. start. You'll operate rear-loader vehicles, conduct safety checks, perform minor maintenance, and support the Waste Management Strategy.
Responsibilities
Operate rear-loader vehicles safely and efficiently.
Conduct daily safety checks and basic vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to National Heavy Vehicle Law and council protocols.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain clean streets.
Assist in the planning and execution of waste collection schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
A current HR Class driver's licence.
Experience in waste services or a similar driving role.
Physical fitness for manual handling and outdoor work.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic data entry and mobile device use.
Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law.
Familiarity with Sutherland Shire streets and suburbs (advantageous).
Benefits and Salary
Package: $74,901 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation.
Full-time, permanent 38-hour week, 9-day fortnight.
