We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers in Geelong to join our supportive and growing team.

About the Role
You will support participants with physical, intellectual, and mental health needs by assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and encouraging community participation. This role suits someone who is reliable, compassionate, and passionate about making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalised, person-centred support
* Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Support participants to achieve individual goals
* Facilitate community access and social engagement
* Monitor wellbeing and report changes
* Assist with basic first aid and medication support where required
* Follow individualised care and support plans
* Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment

Current Service Needs & Availability
* Community Access shifts primarily between 10:00pm – 2:00pm
* SIL house shifts: - 9:45am- 3pm Day shifts
*
o 2:45pm- 9am Sleepover shifts
* Minimum requirement: Availability for at least 2 shifts per week
Flexibility is highly valued, with potential to increase hours based on availability and participant needs.

* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Flexible, reliable, and participant-focused approach
* Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is welcomed at any level as we value enthusiasm and commitment over specific experience requirements.

Requirements
* First Aid & CPR certification
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Driver's Licence and insured vehicle
* Valid Driver's Licence (provisional, or full licence accepted) with insured vehicle
* Medication Administration Certificate: Assistance in obtaining this can be provided for successful Candidates.
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Disability/Aged Care) (Desirable)
* Australian working rights
* 100 points of ID

Employment Conditions & Pay
Employment is governed by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2020 (SCHADS Award 2020) and organisational policies.
Pay rates: $36.00 – $64.00 per hour, depending on classification, shift type, penalties, and loadings.
