Overview
Finance Officer – Part Time 24 hours per week (hours negotiable). Resicon Master Builders is a recognised leading builder in Melbourne with over 60 years of experience, located in Heidelberg Heights. We are looking for an experienced finance officer to join our small, friendly team. The role involves managing all financial aspects of the business and providing administrative support to our Project Managers, Estimator and Purchasing Officer.
Key Responsibilities
* All financial aspects including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll
* Preparation and lodgement of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
* Reporting directly to senior management and external accountants as required
* Update and maintain cashflow forecasts
* Onboarding and HR management of staff
* Assist our Estimator and Purchasing Officer with general administrative tasks
Skills & Experience
* High level of attention to detail
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills
* Proficient in MYOB, MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Suite
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A strong desire to improve efficiencies through procedures and processes
* Previous experience working in an office environment
* Previous experience working in the construction industry would be an advantage
* The position will suit a confident, task oriented and mature minded person with the ability to work in a small, supportive team environment. We offer flexible working arrangements with negotiable hours so the position will suit a candidate with school aged children
