Job Description
- Design and implement system integrations to support data flow and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless functionality.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing integration systems to ensure reliability.
- Document integration processes and provide technical support as required.
- Ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards in all integration activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for integration management and deployment.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to improve integration solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Integration Engineer should have:
- Proficiency in integration tools and platforms relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical solutions.
- Experience in developing and maintaining APIs and other integration services.
- Understanding of data transformation and mapping techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in system integrations.Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and competency.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, including experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions and extensive relevant experience in developing, implementing, integrating, fixing, and maintaining complex application systems.
- Demonstrated qualified experience with the following technologies: C#; .NET; Azure Integration Services.
- Proven experience implementing APIs using REST APIs and/or SOAP to integrate applications and experience using Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
- Experience in gathering and documenting requirements appropriate to the applied methodology.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to establish positive stakeholder relationships.
- Effective organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognise and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions within guidelines.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, problem solve and work productively as part of a team following an agile methodology.
Desirable:
- Microsoft Certification (e.g. AZ 204) or demonstrated experience in Azure Integration Services.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, demonstrated through ITIL certification and/or professional experience, is desirable.
- Experience implementing APIs using GraphQL is desirable.
- Familiarity with and/or professional experience with Logic Apps and Power Platform is desirable.
