What You'll Drive
The Employee and Industrial Relations Consultant is responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs, projects, and services that provide strategic employee and industrial relations leadership across TAFE SA. To provide expert employee and industrial relations leadership and advice that supports TAFE SA to achieve its strategic and operational objectives. The role delivers expert advice and high‐quality case management services to support complex and sensitive industrial and employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with South Australian public sector legislation and industrial instruments.
The Skills You Bring
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work under broad direction, both independently and within a team, apply initiative and significant delegated authority in determining methods and approaches to manage and resolve complex and sensitive people matters whilst maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
* Highly effective interpersonal skills, with a significant capacity to foster collaboration, influence successful outcomes and prepare high level reports with recommendations and advice.
* Significant experience in interpreting industrial legislation and human resources policies and providing specialised and expert industrial and employee relations advice, using a collaborative and highly consultative approach.
* Significant experience designing, developing, implementing and evaluating complex industrial relations programs, projects, and services, including interpreting implementing and contributing to the development of policies to achieve shared organisational objectives.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
