We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team on a temporary basis in Wangara and Osborne Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, coating application, and operating abrasive blasting equipment within a manufacturing environment. Description Responsibilities: Surface Preparation: Perform detailed surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings. Coating Application: Apply a variety of protective coatings such as epoxies and urethanes, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures. Abrasive Blasting: Operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipment, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and safely. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Independent Work: Work autonomously, managing tasks effectively while maintaining high attention to detail and quality. Profile Your Profile: * Experience: Previous experience as a Blaster/Painter in a manufacturing environment. * Skills: Knowledge of different surface preparation and coating techniques, ability to read technical drawings. * Certifications: Relevant high-risk tickets and certifications are a plus. * Physical Demands: Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions. * Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and safety. Job Offer Offer: Hourly Rate: AU$35 - AU$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
