Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has been the #1 platform of choice for running Generative AI workloads (LLM Development, model training/fine tuning, and inferencing). Leading companies such as Cohere, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Meta, and Mosaic ML are training their LLMs on OCI AI Infrastructure.

We are investing in building a team of highly motivated and talented individuals in Australia to accelerate our AI business growth.

What You'll Do

As an experienced salesperson with a strong network and existing relationships with AI startups and AI Labs in Australia, you will identify organizations that need AI infrastructure for building, training, and inference.

With prior experience selling GPUs, networking, and high-performance computing in the cloud, you will oversee all aspects of the AI infrastructure Go To Market in Australia.

Your responsibilities include prospecting (identifying AI startups and labs with Series B+ funding), engaging with key stakeholders (CEO/CTO/Founders), delivering technical pitches leveraging your GPU and Cloud sales experience, developing commercial proposals, and closing deals through strong negotiation skills.

You will leverage your network of private equity and venture capitalists funding AI startups/labs to create opportunities for OCI AI infrastructure within the AI startup ecosystem.

Who You'll Work With

You will be responsible for the success of the OCI AI infrastructure Go To Market in Australia, collaborating with extended teams across Oracle's ecosystem in Australia, APAC, and globally for market development, pipeline generation, and managing opportunities throughout their lifecycle.

Who You Are

You are an experienced salesperson with a robust network and relationships with AI startups, labs, private equity, and venture capitalists in Australia. You thrive in challenging sales roles, opening new markets with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and exploring uncharted territories.

You possess over 10 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in infrastructure (GPUs, high-performance computing, networking) and a deep understanding of the Generative AI domain (LLMs, tools, frameworks), having held similar specialist sales roles at organizations like HPE, Dell, AWS, or Azure.

A proactive sales attitude, knowledge of competitors, and awareness of developments in the AI/Gen AI market are essential.

Experience and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment are required. You demonstrate strong technical sales aptitude, a sense of urgency, and motivation to develop a multi-million dollar business.

You have a positive, contagious attitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to foster teamwork and share ideas and best practices.

You possess strong business acumen to identify large AI infrastructure deal opportunities and have the ability to articulate solutions effectively.

Qualifications include a career level of IC5, with responsibilities involving partnering with sales teams to qualify and close new business, providing industry or product expertise, developing solution strategies, managing opportunities, leading sales processes, and maintaining industry and product knowledge.
