Who You Are
You're a resourceful and skilled Network Administrator with a passion for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure. You have expertise in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network systems, maintaining seamless connectivity across complex environments. Your knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, along with a proactive problem-solving approach, makes you a key contributor to operational success.

What You'll Do
As a Network Administrator, your duties will include:
* Maintain, install, upgrade, and configure data systems.
* Administer operating systems and maintain security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
* Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within your field.
* Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
* Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure timely completion of IT projects.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* You must be an Australian citizen.
* Must possess an active AUS PV Clearance.
* Minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
* Minimum of five years of directly related technical, professional experience.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles in a Microsoft environment, including network topologies and transmission media.
* Current Security+ Certification.
* Technical support experience for Microsoft Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux operating systems.
* Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN troubleshooting.
* Experience with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop applications.
* Experience in enterprise IT environments or supporting large-scale systems.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols.
Desired Qualifications:
* Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client.
This role will be located in Alice Springs. The position is expected to be onsite 100%.
