Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Colour Centre Dispatch Assistant to join our team in Dandenong. Reporting into the Customer Care Team Leader, this role involves picking and packing colour swatches and other small items for dispatch, handling around 80 to 100 pieces of mail per day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable standing on their feet for most of the day, lifting boxes (up to 25 kg), and moving items between floors.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a mix of physical and administrative tasks and are comfortable with a repetitive work environment
Responsibilities
* Pick and pack colour swatches and other items for dispatch
* Monitoring the stock of collateral to ensure supply is kept up to date
* Handle around 80 to 100 pieces of mail per day
* Ensuring the stock of colour collateral is maintained, accurate and stocked to appropriate levels
* Use a computer to check orders, print labels, and update express post details
* Occasionally assist walk-in customers with their orders and direct technical queries to the customer care team
* Maintain order in the mail area and ensure accuracy in picking the correct colours and items for dispatch

Skills And Experience
* Basic proficiency in using email and web-based programs for order processing
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Physical fitness to stand for long periods and handle lifting tasks
* Organizational skills to efficiently manage the dispatch process
This role is repetitive and involves manual tasks, making it suitable for someone who prefers physical activity over desk work. The working hours are flexible between 20 to 25 hours per week, typically starting from around 9:30am Monday to Friday.
