The Opportunity

As an HR Business Partner in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport you will play a central role in shaping how our organisation supports, develops and empowers its people. You will provide both strategic and operational advice across all facets of HR, including organisational change management, employee relations, performance management, and workforce and succession planning and development. About you

You are a skilled HR professional who works independently and collaboratively, providing evidence‐based advice on complex people matters. With strong communication, analytical and problem‐solving skills, you engage effectively with stakeholders, negotiate outcomes and resolve conflict. You apply contemporary HR knowledge, deliver customer‐focused services, and contribute to improving programmes, policies and workforce practices. You make sound decisions, manage risk and adapt to emerging organisational, legislative and sector trends.
