Service Electrician | $50 ph Perm Full Time | Landsdale
Opportunity:
As an Electrician, you will:
1. Electrical repair and maintenance of diesel engines and electric power generation equipment predominately onsite and from time to time in the workshop
2. Onsite commissioning and electrical installation of diesel engines and electric power generation equipment
3. Fitment of sales equipment accessories
4. Fault finding and diagnostics
5. Provide technical support on all products internally and externally
Experience:
Previous experience working with generators and light towers will be highly regarded. Candidates with backgrounds in mining or commercial electrical work are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current A Grade Electrical Licence and be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening (DAS).
6. Current Electrical Licence
7. Technical and industry knowledge
8. Experience with diesel engines and electric power generation equipment
9. Ability to troubleshoot low and high voltage electrical faults and generator control system faults
10. An understanding of workshop manuals
11. Ability to follow written procedures
12. Experience with Microsoft computer packages
13. Holding a current driver's licence
14. Holding, or the ability to hold, a forklift licence
15. Ability to travel, work overtime and irregular hours
Benefits: $56 Base + penalties Full Time Opportunity
38 hours/week Monday – Friday 6am to 4pm
