Company
Redpath Partners are working in collaboration with a national client-side project management consultancy who are experiencing ongoing project demands. With a strong reputation in the industry for delivering a range of projects across Commercial, Industrial, Education, Aged Care, Aviation, Multistorey Apartments and Fitout they continue to thrive with an established pipeline of work. This consultancy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join and support the current leadership team where they will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of work for a longstanding respected client.
Role
This senior-level position will see you taking ownership of complex projects from feasibility and design phases through to procurement and delivery. You will act as the primary client liaison, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to scope – while managing stakeholder expectations and contributing to the business's wider strategic growth.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Overseeing all project activities, throughout complete project life cycle
• Identifying project scope, goals and deliverables
• Procurement & Contract Management
• Programme and Cost Management
• Excellent communication with all stakeholders, relationship management with the client
• Design Management involved across the consent process
• Manage external consultants optimising best practice and construction delivery
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have the following experience:
• Experience working for a Project Management Consultancy in NZ or AUS (Delivering vertical construction) minimum 10 years experience
• Proven experience leading: Commercial, industrial, education, aged-care, apartment & or fit-out projects
• High level of communication skills, proven collaborative ability with demonstrated skills in leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience leading the full lifecycle of vertical construction projects
• Strong knowledge of NZ Building Standards and the tendering process
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or related field
