Job Description
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports for funds under management.
* Assist in the reconciliation of investment portfolios and related accounts.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
* Support the month‐end and year‐end financial close processes.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide information.
* Monitor and report on fund performance metrics and investment activities.
* Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.
* Assist in audits and ensure accurate documentation and record‐keeping.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Fund Accountant / Investment Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of the financial services industry and investment accounting practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work well in a team environment.
