Help shape a safe, inclusive and equitable UniSQ.

As our Diversity and Inclusion Advisor, you'll join UniSQ's Human Resources team and contribute to an employee experience that champions inclusion and advances equity for our employees and stakeholders. You'll be part of a team committed to building environments where diversity is embraced and where our values - respect, integrity, and excellence - guide everything we do.

Who you are

Are you passionate about building workplaces where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to thrive? Do you enjoy turning diversity and inclusion priorities into practical actions? If you're energised by work that improves people's experiences at work every day, this role offers an opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll help drive key diversity and inclusion initiatives across the University, with a particular focus on education and awareness raising, and implementing and reporting on our external compliance requirements. You will:

* Support the design, development and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs, initiatives, policies and procedures - especially those related to gender equality, sexual harassment and gender-based violence, racism, and positive duty obligations.
* Contribute to UniSQ's whole of organisation prevention and response plans by coordinating stakeholder engagement, tracking progress, and monitoring and reporting outcomes.
* Develop communication and professional development resources - such as training programs, online modules, intranet content, and tools that build capability and confidence among leaders and staff.
* Collect, analyse and prepare data, metrics and submissions for internal reporting and external agencies, including the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and the Department of Education.

What will help you succeed

You're someone who brings both expertise and a genuine passion for inclusion. To thrive in this role, you'll have:

* Knowledge of diversity and inclusion legislation, policy frameworks and contemporary issues, and the ability to translate them into practical outcomes.
* Experience designing and delivering programs, resources, and training that support inclusive workplace practices.
* Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to interpret information, ensure accuracy, and prepare reports.
* Technical capability to create and improve content across SharePoint, Excel, websites and other digital platforms.
* Highly developed communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and equity groups.
