About the Role
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans and provide specialist support to our care teams through therapeutic supervision, practice guidance and reflective practice sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead therapeutic assessments and planning through comprehensive assessments and Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
* Develop, review and support implementation of relevant therapeutic support plans, such as Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
* Provide expertise and guidance on reflective practice and facilitate the development of effective strategies to prevent and respond to pain-based behaviour for young people.
* Advocate and lead ethical, evidence-informed therapeutic practice, ensuring alignment with established models and frameworks.
Skills & Experience:
* Possess tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or related fields.
* Hold current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body.
* Demonstrate experience using evidence-based assessment tools with young people exhibiting trauma-informed behaviour.
* Have ability to develop and promote positive person-centred behaviour supports.
