McArthur are currently seeking applications for the position of APS5 Assurance and Support Officer, to work with our government client.
The APS5 UDI Business Support Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Australia UDI, including writing and executing test scripts, preparation of training, guidance and other supporting documentation, and responding to customer and TGA requests for assistance.
This is a customer facing role (both internal and external stakeholders) with touch points on overall system process (to support enquiries management) various IT systems and support of quality assurance and business process design.
Key duties and responsibilities will include the following:
As directed, support quality assurance, testing and business support activities, including:
Create and run test scripts.
Demonstrate the UDI system and training new users.
Respond to support requests.
On-board new users, including adding new access profiles.
Work with the UDI Support Manager to establish and update operational functionality.
Engage with subject matter experts to complete/refine business process and associated documentation as needed.
Create and updating support and guidance materials, including the FAQs, web content, user guides, help desk self-help content.
Work with the UDI project team, Health ITD technical resources and other Departmental staff to define specific aspects, including:
Define technical (specifically IT and subject matter expert) support roles and responsibilities.
Develop and test the Business Continuity Plan.
Support UDI and Engagement team to define the approach to onboarding manufacturers, sponsors, and agents, including scoping of legal requirements and approval process to move from sandpit' into production.
Assist in establishing business process approach to onboarding TGA staff in sandpit and production environments.
Other duties as required.
The preferred candidate will possess the following:
Strong problem solving skills.
Sound judgment, attention to detail and organisational skills and ability to take responsibility for work, prioritising tasks and producing quality outputs to meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to provide technical input on system testing within a specific timeframe.
Proven experience working within system support in a complex Government environment.
A flexible attitude, understanding that priorities may change with short notice and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong written and communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups at different levels.
Mandatory skills:
Experience in testing.
Strong communication skills including ability to prepare clearly articulated written work on the subject matter targeted towards specific audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work withing a customer/ stakeholder focused environment.
Ability to apply problem solving skills to resolve customer enquiries.
Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and regulatory requirements.
Experience in a project environment and working within a high performing team which is a blend of permanent staff, contractors, and external suppliers.
The below skills are highly desirable:
Experience writing and running test scrips.
Experience supporting implementation of a new system in a systems, stakeholder support, and enquiries management capacity.
Involvement with project planning, management or support is highly desirable.
