Entry-Level IT Support Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level IT support specialist to provide first and second-line end-user support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, deploy and maintain IT equipment. This role requires working closely with customers, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations and continual service improvement.
Responsibilities
* Provide on-site support for PCs, laptops, peripherals, and smart devices.
* Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and SCCM issues.
* Assist with hardware/software installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
* Respond to and resolve incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
* Manage asset deployment, relocation, and decommissioning.
* Maintain IT documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
* Train new users on IT tools and best practices.
* Ensure adherence to work health and safety (WHS) policies.
Requirements
* At least 7 months of IT support experience (onsite or remote).
* Knowledge of Windows OS (7-10), Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM.
* Basic understanding of networking, VPN, RSA, Citrix, and virtualization.
* Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, MCP, Cert IV in IT) are desirable.
